The Wooden Spoon
The Wooden Spoon

About

A highlight of one of Chicago's top dining and shopping destinations is Andersonville's charming The Wooden Spoon. Family owned and operated "the Spoon," as regulars call it, has been a leading source for kitchen products and cooking classes in Chicago since 2002.

Thoughtfully chosen products range from high-end bakeware lines such as Le Creuset to small and handy gadgets like a garlic twist.

The educational and entertaining classes at The Wooden Spoon give students the skills for a lifetime of culinary enjoyment. The Wooden Spoon is also a top-tier venue for corporate and private events.

The quaint, wood-floored, showroom precedes a beautiful demonstration kitchen with top of the line fixtures and equipment. The outside patio is lush with plants and anchored by a mosaic tiled wood-burning pizza oven and 40-inch outdoor grill.

Finally, the Coach House, features a charming bar for private events and a rooftop garden where many of the ingredients for the classes are grown.

The Wooden Spoon is open six days a week from Tuesday-Sunday with classes throughout the week.
